To join our quoting team responsible for evaluating and pricing tooling projects. The successful applicant will have metal stamping tooling experience with both progressive and transfer tooling and have manufacturing process knowledge. CAD experience and the ability to make tooling layouts are required. Strong customer relations skills, clear communication skills and creativity are essential. An engineering or tool making background would be a definite asset.
To use CAM software to program CNC tooling components for 3-5 axis milling and wire EDM machines. Experience in CAM software would be an asset, and CNC operators with programming experience will be considered. Working closely with engineering and tooling staff, your aptitude and work ethic will determine the variety and type of work assigned. Shift to be determined.
To be responsible for a variety of tasks. Requires flexibility and a willingness to move between departments. Must be willing to adapt to new roles over time, be dedicated to accuracy and discretion, and work with diverse individuals. Strong computer skills are essential; experience in CAD would be an asset.
Tool & Die Apprenticeship
Manufacturing is rebounding and we’re busy! If you enjoy working with your hands, have an aptitude for mechanical tasks and are strong in math, consider a skilled trade apprenticeship in tool & die. A college diploma in a manufacturing field would be an asset but is not required. Shift to be determined.
